geez, I've got the knitting bug - can't put down those pointy sticks! This is a sketch from a knitting book I'm currently reading. There just aren't enough hours in the day for all I want to do!

I feel just the same :-)

This is wonderful, Starr .. and comforting-looking! LOVE IT! My mom crochets slippers for me each Christmas -- LOVE THEM too!
Aye, I hear your lament! I think it would be great if we could just take off for a year (sabbatical) and get pid still, to catch up on our perwonal life intrests!
I love this drawing and the whole concept of knitting by the sea. I miss knitting sometimes (especially when I see some divine yarn),but I have to pick and chose pretty carefully where I spend my meager off hours. At the moment, I am spending them drawing and blogging.
I too love knitting. I just learned how 2 years ago and am still in love with it. Making hats and scarves and one sweater etc. Nothing complicated like gloves or socks though :) Your sketches are very very good starrgirl. My son is an artist also. I think he is very good too.
Keep up the good blogging and I will keep reading them...oh yes btw I am trying to get my paperwork together so I can get the DS surgery. I belong to OH for a couple of months and am on boards at ds.com as of yesterday
Hugs, from this temporarily fat lady.

Starr,
Sorry about that last comment! Sometimes I get to typing too fast and either miss a key entirely or hit the wrong key. If my Gram starts calling me, I don't get time to proof it before sending...
oh there's never enough time to do it all, is there? But you did such a nice job with this drawing
