these boots were made for...

SAFETY! Not exactly a Nancy Sinatra song on the hit parade, but they are comfortable and do the trick. I chuckle every morning when I put them on - you just never know where life will lead you, do you? And isn't that the fun of it!

Great Moleskine page, Starr, Your boots are a bit like a pair that I did for the EDM challenge last year.

GORGEOUS!! You can make even the humblest subject so beautifully rendered!! I work in 'non-steel toe boots' -- not fashionable -- but I'maround greenhouses, landscape construction, soil, dirt, fertilizers all day -- they may not be pretty - but it beats the loss of toes and dozens of shoes!

Starr,

I too wear work boots and having been on both sides of the souls so to speak, they sure as h--l beat stilleto heels any day of the week, besides I much prefer to do what I do in my boots (nursery work) to what I did in heels (office work, no outside light for me back then).

Great job on the drawing!

Those are great Starr! My sister had to wear them when she worked for the railroad one summer inspecting tractor-trailers. What a fashion statement! I like-em! I'd also like working in a metalurgical lab! I love working with metals and have done foundry, sheet-metal work and welding. Being involved with the testing would be just cool beans!
